2 Childrens cross country skis
8 Penny washers, M6 (6 mm)
4 Lock washers, M6 (6 mm)
4 Wingnuts, M6 (6 mm)
7m/23ft elastic rope (7 mm)
7m/23ft static rope (8 mm)
3 Small plastic carabiners

Get a pair of childrens cross country skis. Before you cut them, be sure to measure how far behind the sled you need them to protrude. Simply hold one in place over the sled shoulders so the correct length is protruding out over the rear end, tips pointing backwards, out of the sled. Mark the place where the skis are meeting the embossed rise in the sled shoulder (see next picture). This is where you cut.
