Radio license granted

After filing our Radio License application last month we received word from the Radio Administration of the Greenland Home Rule that our application is granted. This gives us permission to carry and use our Personal Locator Beacon on the ice cap. Another milestone reached. We are still waiting for our expedition license with great suspense.

Application sent

To cross the Greenland ice cap one needs to get a permission from the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation (Prev. DPC). We have dutifully filled out the application form and submitted it today together with route details, maps and packing lists.
