I have just finished editing and subtitling the video footage from our trip to Rondane. Petter managed to capture some beautiful scenery and for the first time we actually have dialogue. Unfortunately I did not manage to cut the movie any shorter than 6:15, so it’s the longest one to date.

Anyway – we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it. As per usual it is subtitled for the Norwegian impaired. Click the button in the lower right corner of the player to access the subtitles.

Three Peaks Above 2000 in Eight Hours

We had a great trip to Rondane last weekend. We ascended Rondslottet (2178 masl), Storronden (2138 masl) and Vinjeronden (2044 masl) during 8 windy hours on Saturday. We established base camp just south of Rondvatnet (1167) late Friday evening, after hiking in the dark the 6 kilometers from the parking. Headlamps are great. Sebastian, Anders, Terje and Petter were the only guys being hard core enough wanting to take on this challenge, that wasn’t really a challenge – just a wonderfull weekend allowing for complete mindfullness. To all of our friends that were invited and didn’t join; now you can regret!

Well, Anders took a series of photoes and I captured a few frames on my HD camera that we will publish here as soon as we get around to it.

Rondane here we come

In a few minutes, we’re leaving the software business in Oslo and heading for Rondane National Park.

The plan is to start out from the parking on Spranget this evening, and walk 1.5 hours towards Rondvassbu. There we will locate a suitable camp location for the weekend. The weather forecast is somewhat non-promising, but if we get a chance we will ascend Storronden (2138 masl) on Saturday. Stay tuned for photoes and videoes.
