I just had a look at yours. It's awesome! Nice work. Looks like you guys are in control of your preparations and are well underway with training. As for the sleds, we shipped ours by plane last April when we were going to northern Norway for a week of training. We filled one sled each with equipment and placed the other one on top of that as a lid. Then we wrapped the whole thing in cardboard and secured it with duct tape. Worked like a charm! In Norway you have to pay extra for over sized luggage. The upside is that the over sized luggage have an ample weight limit. So by packing all the heavy stuff in the sleds we escaped the extra charge on over weight normal luggage. You gotta love rules and regulations! :) I wish you the best of luck on your expedition! We stacked them and filled them up with light, bulky material (like mattresses). Worked out perfectly, packed in Air Canada large plastic bags, in over sized luggages and at no additionnal costs. For the permit, only received the Danish temporary permit number... resubmitting this week... crossing fingers. All the best! Hey guys,

That was the earliest we could count on getting our DPC ref. number which we need for the radio and gun permits.
